On my way to work today, I received a call from Jess. "Jocelyn, can you come as soon as poosible because Rebecca is on MC." That was the first sentence she greeted me with. I was not at all panicky, surprisingly. Just answered her a "I will try to". She was actually kidding. She wanted me to buy breakfast for her.
At first, she asked me to get something from Qi Ji. I guess Rebecca must have ask her to do so. However, she wanted Ham sandwich from Hans. I had to drop by at Qi Ji as well as Siti wanted Ice Milo.
At Hans, saw Aaron and Adeline. I ordered the sandwich, and turn to face them. However, Adeline did not lift her eyes to look at me at all. Did you really not see or are you pretending??? It did not really bother me though.
David was not at Qi Ji today. I realised during lunchtime that he is helping out at Banquet today. What function is there??? Bumped into him when I was going for my lunch and when I came back from lunch. What a coincidence.
Anyway, when I stepped into the office, I was told that both Jackie and Darlene are on MC. Great!!! That left with only Rebecca and I to mend the office till 12pm. It was managable though overall. Adeline wanted to claim an hour at first. But when I told her that Jackie and Darlene are on MC, she did not do so.
I attended the Telephone Courtesy and Technique talk at 3.30pm. It lasted for only an hour. Goodness gracious me!!! My memory suddenly failed me. I could not remember the code for my lock. Tried afew times but just cannot get it right. Headed to the Human Resource Department to get it.
Did a little shopping at Citylink. Guess what I bought??? A PAIR OF JEANS FROM GIODARNO!!! Going to wear it to Malaysia this saturday. Dear must be very surprise then. Tried to shop for some tops as well but I did not really fancy any. Guess I will go to Orchard or Bugis on Friday to shop for them.
Headed from gym again once I reached home.
Dear called me. He has a fall AGAIN. This time round, he has hurt his hand. It is in a bandage now. Poor darling... Besides that, he is having a fever also. Kind of worried about him now. As for his on-going stomach pain, the doctor told him it is gastric. He had better take care. Otherwise, he will have to go for an operation. Heard it dear. Take good care please. Do not make people worry for you!!!
Called me again after he had finish bathing. Had a little quarrel. I know he is in too bad a condition to go for the interview tomorrow. Was just asking him to give me a reason to give the Human Resource staff for not being able to turn up for the interview. Say you are sick??? Asked me to say he had gone overseas!!! Use your brain my dear. This will show how irresponsible you are. You jolly well know that you are scheduled for an interview and you still can go overseas. To make things worse, you inform them only at the eleventh hour. This made me pissed. In the end, we decided to tell them that he has to attend a meeting and is unable to go for the interview. Maybe I can schedule the interview on another day for him. You should have come up with this reason soon right? Then there will be no quarrel. But anyway...
He will come to City Hall to meet me tomorrow at 9am. He is to pass me his certificates so that I can pass them to the Human Resource staff. We shall go for breakfast first then. Hans???
